In this lesson from Melody Nease at Jesse Boyd Elementary, third grade students completed a short research project on animals and their habitats. They used a variety of print and digital resources to do the research and then used Prezi, a presentation app to create their final projects and share them with the class. SC ELearning Now Offering Technology Integration Courses

South Carolina’s Department of Education is now offering an “online professional growth program in technology integration. Completely virtual courses allow teachers to complete renewal or graduate credits from anywhere across the state. A variety of courses such as “Using Technology for Math Class” and “Facebook for Educators” will provide teachers with opportunities to learn how to effectively engage our 21st learners with technology.
